The teaching of knowledge and techniques and skills training relevant to SFIA content.
Proposed for SFIA 4.0:
The transfer of business and/or technical skills and knowledge and the inculcation of professional attitudes in order to facilitate learning and development.

I think that the SFIA3 Levels 3,4&5 in this section are fine and that the use of 'training', in this context,is ok.
However, the current definition could be improved to something like "The transfer of skills and knowledge and the inculcation of professional attitudes in order to facilite learning and development".
I think it is important to retain the emphasis on the 'deliverer' and not on the 'learner'. We are looking to capture the skills associated with the ability to deliver education & training, we are not looking to define the ability of the 'learner' to learn.

It is also proposed that references to "training" should be reviewed, and (if appropriate) changed to "learning". "Learning and Development" is a more current phrase, and hints at the responsibility of the learner to actively learn, rather than (passively) to "be taught".
